2. Project-Wise Financial Tracking

Separate project accounts, construction assessments and clearer disclosures will help creditors understand each development’s financial position. A project may also be considered for exclusion from insolvency proceedings, subject to the prescribed approval and tribunal process.

3. Greater Homebuyer Participation

The amended framework strengthens buyer representation and requires resolution plans to explain how allottee claims will be addressed, including possession or refunds. Project-wise delivery schedules and progress reporting are also important features.

4. Telangana RERA Legal Update

Telangana amended its rules to align with changes to Section 68 under the Jan Vishwas legislation. Imprisonment was removed for the specified violation of Appellate Tribunal orders, but monetary penalties remain. Buyers should still verify project registration, approvals and agreements before paying.
