The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) announced that recognized startups in India have crossed 1.5 lakh entities across 670 districts nationwide.
To further bolster the innovation pipeline, the central government has expanded the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS), providing collateral-free debt financing up to ₹10 crore per enterprise.
