Diwali Offer Announces Special Rooftop Solar Prices

Homeowners considering rooftop solar installations have a new festive offer to compare. Frevolt Green Energy Technologies has announced a Diwali promotion on selected Adani PERC panel systems, valid for confirmed bookings from October 26 to November 20, 2026. The advertised project price is ₹1.78 lakh in the Sangli and Kolhapur regions and ₹1.85 lakh in Nashik. The prices apply only to the specified eligible system and are not general prices for every rooftop solar installation. Buyers should obtain the full technical specification and written quotation before booking.

PM Surya Ghar Offers Subsidy Support up to ₹78,000

Eligible residential consumers can also explore the central government's PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Under the scheme, central financial assistance is structured at ₹30,000 per kW for the first two kW and ₹18,000 for the additional kW up to three kW. The maximum central subsidy is ₹78,000 for systems of 3 kW or higher. Applications are made through the national portal, and consumers can select an eligible registered vendor. The actual benefit depends on eligibility, installation and scheme requirements.

Concessional Solar Loans May Reduce the Initial Cost

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has also outlined collateral-free loans through nationalised banks for eligible rooftop solar installations. The government stated a concessional interest rate of 5.75% per year at the time of its July 2026 announcement, with a loan tenure of up to 10 years. Interest rates and loan approval are subject to the applicable lending terms. Households should compare the total repayment amount, processing charges and monthly instalments rather than focusing only on the advertised interest rate.

Check These Conditions Before Booking

Frevolt's published terms say its festive price applies only to specified Adani PERC systems in the named regions. The offer cannot be combined with another discount or scheme, and GST and statutory charges are extra. The company also states that subsidy or loan approval is not guaranteed. Therefore, customers should not assume that the promotional price can automatically be combined with PM Surya Ghar assistance. Ask for a written quotation showing equipment, inverter, installation, warranty, taxes, net-metering support and any additional charges. Verify subsidy eligibility independently before paying an advance.
