Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Glanza facelift in India, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹6.99 lakh and reaching ₹10.49 lakh. The hatchback gets a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, manual and AMT gearbox options, and CNG variants with an AMT option. Additional features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging and Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems on the top variant.

According to Autocar India, prices start at ₹6.99 lakh and go up to ₹10.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated Glanza is offered in five trims: E, S, G, V and V(O). Bookings are open for ₹11,000, and deliveries are expected to begin in the first week of November.

The biggest mechanical change is the introduction of a new-generation 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 83hp and 112Nm of torque and is available with manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options.

The CNG version produces 70hp and 102Nm. Toyota is offering the CNG powertrain with both manual and AMT gearboxes on selected S and G trims, giving buyers an automatic-transmission option in the CNG segment.

The facelift brings a revised front grille, redesigned fog-lamp surrounds and a repositioned Toyota logo. Inside, the car retains its familiar dashboard layout but adds equipment depending on the variant.

Higher trims feature a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a colour driver's display and connected-car functions. The V variant adds ventilated front seats, a head-up display and a 360-degree camera, while the V(O) variant receives Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance.

Six airbags, ABS with EBD and vehicle stability control are standard across the range, according to the report.

The Glanza continues to compete with premium hatchbacks such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz. The revised engine and added convenience and safety features are intended to strengthen its position in the segment.

Buyers should confirm variant-specific equipment, prices and delivery timelines with Toyota dealerships, as availability may vary.
