Competition in the electric two-wheeler market
India's electric scooter segment has become increasingly competitive, with established manufacturers and newer EV companies competing on range, pricing, battery technology, charging convenience and after-sales service.
Vida's sales growth indicates that established automotive groups are gaining traction in the electric mobility space. However, maintaining this momentum will require continued product improvements and a strong customer-service network.
Market Perspective
Crossing two lakh sales in a calendar year is an important milestone for Vida. The next challenge will be sustaining monthly volumes while competing with other major electric scooter brands.
