Technology and safety take centre stage
The model features two 12.3-inch displays integrated into its connected-car cockpit, Hyundai Bluelink connectivity and over-the-air update capability. Hyundai says the vehicle introduces its generative AI voice assistant in India, alongside SmartSense Level 2 Pro advanced driver-assistance systems.
The company also lists features such as a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats. Actual equipment availability can vary by variant, so buyers should confirm the specification of the version they intend to purchase.
Made in India, with export plans
Hyundai says the BAYON will be manufactured in India and exported to more than 50 markets. The launch forms part of the company's broader effort to strengthen its product range and compete in the country's technology-focused SUV market.

Market Perspective
The BAYON's starting price places it in a competitive part of the Indian SUV market, where buyers increasingly compare not only engine performance and design but also infotainment, safety assistance and ownership costs. Its success will depend on variant pricing, real-world fuel economy, reliability and how customers value its technology against established rivals.
The announced driver-assistance features should not be confused with autonomous driving. Drivers must remain attentive and responsible for vehicle control at all times.
